Dear Joe,
I am compelled to
disagree with several of your points, although they are the products
of common deceptions proliferated throughout our corrupt and immoral
society.
1) A man does not need
relief. We have been conditioned to think that we do.
Efforts to break a habit
born of years of habitual masturbation will undoubtedly be difficult.
But break it you must - for love of God and spouse.
2) It is humanly
possible to forego release. It does take work, commitment, much
prayer and even more grace from God, especially by means of the
Sacraments. Frequently ask God, His Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph
for help.
We do not have a right
to sexual gratification - this is strictly a gift from God to be
enjoyed exclusively within the context of marriage, as He designed and
intended.
3) Sexual pleasure is
licit and morally acceptable only within the context of the conjugal
marriage bond between a man and a woman, and always without
contraceptives. Sex under any other circumstances - alone or with
someone other than your spouse (regardless of like or unlike gender)
is considered gravely immoral, a mortal sin, and renders the condition
of one's immortal soul in a position of very grave and real danger.
God intended for man's
spirit and soul to command and dominate his body, not the other way
around. This is the concept that the devil very much wants us to
forget, so we all need to be often reminded.
I pray this helps.
God Bless!
