A:
Yes, Daniele, God does care. What we do, morally or immorally, does
matter.
The year in which we happen to live has absolutely nothing to do with
shifting or changing morality.
"Jesus Christ – Yesterday, Today and Forever."
God does not change. Therefore, His moral laws do not change either.
God’s laws apply the same to us as they did to Abraham, Moses, Caesar,
Napoleon, Lincoln, Churchill, your parents, you, me and every other
human being who has ever lived. No one is exempted.
Scripture clearly states that God’s expectations regarding our
behavior mean that masturbation, lust, homosexuality and adultery
were, are and always will be evil in His eyes. These acts were deemed
evil in the past, they are evil here in the present and they will
still be evil one million years from now.
God’s laws are forever absolute and unchangeable. No group of people
can get together and force God to change – either by vote, by force or
by any other means.
The whole objective to being good and pleasing to God is so that we
get to Heaven, which is a place of eternal happiness. God has made it
painfully and abundantly clear that the alternative to good behavior
merits us eternal suffering in Hell, with no chance of ever being
released from a condition of perpetual misery and torment.
So, it isn’t just our own private business what we do. Everything
that we do, day or night, alone or with others, is done in the sight
of God, whether we are aware of it or not. He knows the secrets,
the desires and the actions we’ve committed even in the dark recesses
of our minds and in the depths of our hearts.
This is why it is so very important to reach people who have been
misled or are truly ignorant of God, of His laws and of the
consequences of their own actions, for good or for evil.
Please know that you, and all those like you, are included in our
daily prayers.
God Bless you!
